A Ukrainian studio asked to develop a portfolio website for their agency. Taking into account the design provided by the client and all the ideas they would like to implement on the site, it was decided to use the Webflow platform for development, as it allows you to customise non-standard animations and conveniently administer the site.

Since the site was developed for an agency that deals with video filming, editing and motion graphics, a lot of attention was paid to animation to make the site more dynamic and intertwined with the agency's field. The site has a variety of tickers, titles, many different cyclic animations, and non-standard effects for the appearance of popups, etc. 

Also, with the help of custom code, we implemented background video playback when you hover over a card from the portfolio, where a part of the video was played. The built-in functionality of Webflow does not allow this, so a custom solution was found and allowed not only to play the video when you hover over the card, but also to play it from the beginning of each hover.

For the portfolio page, we developed a filtering system for cases, as all cases have different categories and purposes and show different strengths of the agency. Since Webflow does not have the functionality for such filtering, a solution was found using a custom script that performs filtering and works perfectly, making the use of the site easier and more comfortable.

The project also included work on optimising the website for search engines, website loading speed, etc. As a result, the site has good performance according to pagespeed, and a positive response from CEO specialists.
